Denise also used her Facebook account to bring to light other cases of women who came forward with their horror stories of abuse and terror and were ignored by the police. She recently wrote about a case in the East Bay Area of California – near where she lives – in which a longtime serial killer was finally arrested in April. He was known as the Golden State Killer. He killed and attacked many women and the police sat on the DNA test kits for years. We’re sure she can relate to the parallels.
