Marj Dusay played Blair’s mother, Monica Warner on the show from 1981 until 1987. Monica offered some of the more serious storylines that Blair was involved in. Monica was married to a number of men and in one episode, it is revealed that Monica has gotten pregnant from her third husband who she is estranged from. Blair is excited to finally have a younger sibling but her mother informs her that she does not intend to keep the baby. Blair pleads with her mother and in the end, she decides to have the baby.
