He and country music star Tammy Wynette dated for some time, but they never made it public. People found out about their affair after Wynette’s close friend Loretta Lynn spilled that she would find her friend hiding in her dressing room. She was at a show and was hiding from Dinah Shore, who was also dating Reynolds at the time.
