There were reports in 1960 that Reynolds and Lori Nelson had a brief engagement. Nelson had been known as one of the original scream queens after she appeared in 1955 horror Revenge of the Creature. It was probably a little early for Reynolds to be thinking about marriage as he still wasn’t even ready to tie the knot when he got married to first wife, Judy Carne. Reynolds was so unenthusiastic about his first marriage, he was reported to have been fighting against the union all the way.
