One thing Burt Reynolds was never afraid of was a successful woman. He dated tennis star Chris Evert while she was in her prime despite her concerns about entering into casual relationships. Evert reported that she really liked dating Burt because he was one of the few men who either wasn’t scared of her, and he wasn’t too into her because she was famous. The pair were dating during the ‘70s and Evert reported that at that time in her life, dating an older man was exactly what she needed.
