Chuck Norris a more conservative actor than most, and as such he wasn’t very into some of the more risqué things that are frequently displayed on television, or in movies. CBS had originally wanted to make Walker’s relationship with Alex a bit more provocative on the show, but Norris argued against it, wanting to keep the show more family friendly. Ultimately, CBS chose to respect Norris’ wishes, and kept the romance between Alex and Walker more wholesome.
