The original child superstar, Shirley Temple met her first husband (actor John Ager) when she was only 15, married him at 17, and gave birth to their daughter Linda at 19. This curly-headed child acting prodigy remains one of the most famous people of all time, though she retired from film at 21. She later married businessman Charles Alden Black and had two children. The two were married for over 50 years and she considered him her greatest love, more so even than animal crackers in her soup.
