She had her first daughter, Wynonna (then named Christina), when she only 18, and her daughter Ashley when she was 22. Naomi raised her two daughters as a single parent all while attending nursing school, before she began a career in singing. Naomi and Wynonna went on to become one of the biggest country music duos of their time, while Ashley became an award-winning actress.
