American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino did not have an easy life growing up, facing bullying and intimate assault all at a young age. One thing that brings her the most joy, though, is her daughter Zion, whom she had at 17 after dropping out of high school. Through sheer talent and grit, she became the stellar singer and performer she is today. Still, she admits she may have taken on motherhood too soon. “I thank God for my daughter, but if I could have waited, I would have.”
