During the abduction he used a blow-up doll in military garb and told the couple that they were part of a gang together. He used previously recorded audio of different voices telling them what to do. It can certainly explain why Aaron and Denise believe there were more kidnappers involved. It’s horrifying the lengths this criminal went through to terrorize them.
