Denise and Aaron both told 20/20 that they’re sure that there were other captors involved. Denise says that she believes Muller took the blame to avoid further investigation. “When he was still present above us, next to us – we could hear stuff going on downstairs, so cabinets opening or stuff being moved around,” she said. She also said that she believes he installed a camera in their home. She doesn’t have hope that the police will investigate that claim.
