In a 2010 Vanity Fair interview, Angelina brought up the topic and gave her input. She mentioned some background in the situation and spoke about Shiloh’s life and the choices she made. It was Shiloh, in fact, who chose to cut her hair short and start to wear clothes for boys. She also usually hung out with her brothers less than her sisters. Because of this interview, people began to think Shiloh wanted to be a boy.

Most people felt that because of her age, Shiloh wasn’t old enough to make those types of decisions, but others jumped up to support her. Celebs that are a part of the LGBTQ community immediately let the Jolie-Pitt family know that they are available for anything Shiloh might need, be it support, guidance, or advice. An example was singer Cher’s son Chaz Bono who explained that he’d be happy to talk about what he went had experienced being LGBTQ.
