This is the USS Kearsarge, and it was first launched in 1992 as a Wasp class assault ship. The ship is able to hold all different types of weapons so that US forces can effectively take a beach head.
It can hold V-22 Osprey, helicopters, jeeps, tanks and a whole bunch of troops. This boat has seen its fair share of action, supporting US missions in Sierra Leone, Libya, and even saving a capsized boat during Hurricane Maria.
