Apparently, the costume team on the Indiana Jones film forgot to give one extra his costume. If you look in the background of this shot, you can see an extra in a t-shirt and jeans!
This is definitely inaccurate as Raiders of the Lost Ark was set during the 1930s. This obvious mistake proves that inaccuracies can happen even to the best of them.

However, Knightley’s acting skills could not hide the fact that she is wearing Wellingtons or rubber boots. The footwear did not existence back when this story took place in 1813. They were created around 40 years after the movie was set.
