This is the USS Anchorage, and it is the second in the San Antonio class of transport ships for the United States Navy.
Simply put, this ship is a modern marvel of technology. The purpose of this ship is to ferry both munitions and supplies to a captured beachhead. To this end, the ship is able to carry humvees, helicopters, 700 soldiers, and so much more. The coolest thing it carried however has to be its hovercraft.
