What you are looking at is the last ever Ticonderoga class missile cruiser to be built.
Based out of Pearl Harbor outside of Honolulu, this is one of the fastest ships in the United States Navy, which is actually a really big deal considering the fact that the ship’s mission is to sail with a cargo full of gigantic missiles. The cruiser is patrolling the waters of the South China Sea in order to mitigate tensions there over the Spratly Islands.
