This is the HSV-2 Swift, and it is a high speed warship whose primary purpose is to rapidly take goods as well as troops from one part of the world to the other as quickly as possible.
The United States recently lent the ship to the United Arab Emirates so that they could use the ship to ferry troops to support their war in Yemen. However, Yemeni rebels shot a missile at the ship, crippling it, and forcing it to be towed to Eritrea for repairs.
