Singapore is a tiny city state located at one of the entrances to the Straits of Malacca. Known throughout history as a wealthy trading port, Singapore is also a strong military power.
The armed forces are made up of conscripts, and there are over one million people in the country’s reserves. And yet, despite having futuristic weapons, a great training regimen, and a population willing to fight for independence, Singapore still prefers to solve its problems with diplomacy and deterrence.
