It would be impossible to complete this list without naming one of the most famous cooking legends who has ever lived, the late, great Julia Child.
The talented chef is recognized as the one responsible for bringing French cuisine to the kitchens of Americans with her debut cookbook titled Mastering the Art of French Cooking. She also hosted The French Chef from 1962 until 1972, which was one of the first ever cooking shows on American television.
