As is so often the case, Andrew Shue began a brief relationship with one of his co-stars during his time on ‘Melrose Place’. Coincidentally enough, the co-star that he briefly dated was Courtney Thorne-Smith, who played Alison Parker, Billy’s love interest for several seasons.
In the show, Billy and Alison almost get married, but break it off at the last second and decide to split. In a moment of art imitating life, this was much the case with Andrew and Courtney, who dated for a short time before breaking up.
