The 90s and early 2000s would continue to prove a successful time for Elisabeth Shue. In 1997, she appeared in ‘The Saint’, co-starring with Val Kilmer. The film – a remake of the original 1960s series – stars Kilmer as a master thief and Shue as the chemical scientist he inadvertently drags along on an adventure with him.
In addition, Shue would star in 2000’s ‘Hollow Man’ – about a man who is injected with an invisibility serum – alongside Kevin Bacon. Both films were financial successes.
