Elisabeth Shue had always been an accomplished player of sports, and has taken up several different sporting pursuits throughout her life. Like her brother Andrew, Elisabeth also played soccer in high school – and was the only girl on a team otherwise entirely made up of boys.
Her time on the high school soccer team, and her experience as the only girl on the team, was made into the 2007 film ‘Gracie’ by Elisabeth Shue, Andrew Shue, and Davis Guggenheim. Both Elisabeth and Andrew also starred in the film.
