After years of working in film, some actors decide they need a change and move to television for a time. This was the case for Elisabeth Shue, who from 2012 to 2015 appeared in the procedural drama ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’.
Shue played Julie Finlay, a crime scene investigator who has a complicated history with D.B. Russell, played by Ted Danson. Shue is a keen tennis player, which led the creators of the show to write an episode in which the key crime is committed at a tennis tournament.
