As well as Andrew, Elisabeth has started up her own family. In 1994, she married David Guggenheim, a film director who has worked in both TV and film. His television work includes directing for hit shows like ‘ER’, ‘The Shield’, and ‘NYPD Blue’.
However, it is perhaps his documentary work that Guggenheim is most well-known for, as he directed the landmark 2006 climate change documentary ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, as well as the equally acclaimed documentaries ‘It Might Get Loud’ and ‘Waiting for Superman’.
