Whenever a person suddenly loses somebody that was close to them, they want to find a meaningful way of commemorating the time they shared and the life they lived.
Both Elisabeth and Andrew Shue were devastated by the sudden passing of their brother William, and sought to provide a fitting tribute to his memory. In the end, they settled on dedicating ‘Gracie’, the film based on Elisabeth’s time on her high school football team, to William.
