[post_page_title]Cate Blanchett vs. Bob Dylan[/post_page_title]
I’m Not There, the movie about folk troubadour Bob Dylan, was a very different kind of biopic. It was broken into seven parts, with seven different actors taking on the role, each representing a different facet of the singer. Even more notable, however, is that one of those actors was a woman – two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett. Taking on the role was easier than you might think, as Blanchett revealed she was a huge tomboy growing up. Actually, she lost weight in order to perfectly capture the essence of the “spiderlike” Dylan in his just-went-electric phase.
