When anthology show American Crime Story tackled the O.J. Simpson trial with The People Vs. O.J. Simpson, a lot of actors got their time to shine. From Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. himself to John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, there were a lot of big performances to go around. Perhaps the smallest, but at the same time the most important, was David Schwimmer playing O.J.’s close friend Robert Kardashian. Though he wasn’t a criminal defense attorney, Kardashian joined the “Dream Team” as the Juice’s handler. Donning a wig, Schwimmer prepared for the role by having a completely frank two-hour conversation with Kris Jenner, Robert’s ex-wife.
