When the chance to appear on Friends rolled around, there was a list as long as time of actors all wanting a role. Leah Remini looked as though she would be the face of Monica Geller after beating off the competition in the auditions to make it to the final round.
Courteney Cox had been auditioning for Rachel Green when the producers opted to go with the actress for Monica instead. The show loved Courteney’s lengthy résumé, while Leah was able to go on to appear in King of Queens.
