HBO definitely hold the record for the most incredible TV series of all time, but it seems they have struggled to maintain a lead for their popular show, The Wire.
According to reports, Dominic West asked the show’s producers to reduce his hours and reduce the intensity of his character on the show, as spending time away from home and shooting for months on end in Baltimore was proving detrimental to his family. Digital Spy has reported that Ray Winstone refused the offer to star as the lead character for that exact reason.
