Micky Dolenz didn’t make his name in the world of acting. Oh no, this superstar was a member of the legendary band the Monkees. Over the years Micky tried his hand at acting which is where he stumbled across the opportunity to audition for Fonzie on the show, Happy Days.
Producers of the show thought Micky was too tall so offered the character to Henry Winkler. Henry’s character was so successful he was promoted to the lead of the show, as well as gaining himself a cult following.
