A world without Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana may be unimaginable but was nearly a reality when the producers were searching for the next big star. Taylor Momsen had already gained popularity after her successful role in Gossip Girl when she decided to audition for the character.
Although Taylor is also a singer, the show chose to go with Miley instead. Taylor now sings for The Pretty Reckless who have released three studio albums to date.
