It may sound totally crazy, considering how popular it is now, but the first Game of Thrones pilot received negative responses from the test audience! The producers decided to go back and rewrite much of the first episode, along with recast some of the actors. Jennifer Ehle, of Pride and Prejudice fame, was the original Catelyn Stark but ended up getting the boot after the failed pilot.
Michelle Fairley took her place instead and starred in 25 episodes of the award-winning HBO series. Ehle has kept herself busy and has a whopping four movies coming out in 2018.
