From sitcoms to dramas and everything in between, there are a considerable number of different TV shows that have kept us entertained over the years. After the release of Game of Thrones back in 2011, it has grown in popularity with each passing year until it was named the most popular TV series of 2017. Although we love the show, we’re not sure if we would still feel the same way seeing someone else play our beloved characters. Thankfully the writers and producers have teamed together to create the best leading cast they could find. Scarily, things could have all been so different.
Our favorite shows are just that for a reason; they give us endless hours of entertainment, as well as a whole host of quotes we can use throughout the day should an opportunity present itself. While Seth Rogen is now one of the kings of comedy, back in 2005, he was still trying to make a name for himself in the world of acting. Long before his time in Pineapple Express, Superbad, or Knocked Up, Seth actually applied to play the role of Dwight Schrute for the hit comedy, The Office.
However, Rainn Wilson was the one to bag the position even though he had only played minor characters for shows such as Entourage and Charmed.
